nigga, you can still eat high carbs and stay lean. i eat over 100g carbs and my face is lean rn. its a meme, @karbo got me off that shit. just stay 2300 mg of sodium max a day. lots of sodium will make u bloated. low carb was not fucking worth it, i felt like i wanted to die

actually i changed my mind

i had the best workout of my life 2 days ago, and i am eating 40-50g carbs a day (10-15g each meal)
i look, and feel way leaner than when i ate ~150g and the best part is that my cravings disappeared and i feel like i have way more control over my hunger

last time i went low carb i felt exactly what you were talking about, the typical zero energy, 0 sex drive, low motivation, but the trick imo is to eat enough calories overall (i do high protein) and DONT enter ketosis (so dont go zero carb)

bloat-wise, even though few weeks ago i said carbs dont bloat, cutting back to 40-50g carbs instantly made my lower cheeks slimmer and my zygos are visible again
at some point i may reintroduce carbs into my diet again slowly, but im very certain that the water retention from it causes my cheeks to fill up and look puffy

i eat 110 carbs a day tbh, not that low, but carbs are the worst for bloat not sodium. doing keto would eliminate 100% of bloating jfl, imagine doing no carbs while 10% bf, legit skeleton face

ye, my face looks lean at high carb, sodium is what bloats me. i cant do keto again, it's hell tbh.

it's only hell first month i heard, the fatigue and low sex drive disappears after that time

400g carbs and 3g sodium

Keto isn't no carb, it's low carb. Usually between 20-50g per day. Also the best diet for you depends on your genetics
