at least catholicism has a healthy hierarchy and a rich tradition of mysticism and ritual aned asthetic beauty . protestnatism is boring ugly and joyless. protestantism is also more egallitarian anti-hierarchy. with catholicism the poison of the bible wa skept away from the masses as it wa sonly allwoed in altin and only read by priests, with protestnatism any pepasant could read the bible and internalise its poisonous messages of egallitarianism and unviersalism.
