If you are in a 95%+ white area where seeing ethnics isn't common, occasionally walking with an ethnic can make people perceive you as higher status because their brain subconsiously believes you are a slave owner commanding your slave to follow and serve you which makes you look high status since wealthy people are more likely to have slaves
