You can't come up with obscure and groundbreaking artistic work when your greatest worry is that one Chad not giving you the time of day while you have a total of 50 orbiters at your leash (plus all your other needs taken care of).
Many of the greatest artistic milestones were achieved when men who had nothing to live for locked themselves inside and expressed all their frustration through art because no one else would listen to them.
