one of the best films ive seen ngl.

the first two acts hit very close to home for reasons i cant discuss as Dicaprio fights with every fibre of his being to stay alive. then in the 3rd act

goes to kill the guy who killed his son as he doesn't fear death anymore

showing that he still values Volk and family as most important. with barely any dialogue we are still captured by the character of dicaprio. this is a Western that deserves mention in the same breath as sergio leone's movies.

I read the book and he doesnt go to kill anybody besides bridger but after only beating him up he changes his mind and doesnt kill him, almost the same goes for fitzgerald too, he doesnt kill anybody in the book
