Its smaller skull, smaller wrists, smaller ribcage, smaller hips, smaller femur etc. Have you ever seen thise awkward looking 15yo zoomers who are like 6'1 but somehow look like 5'7 from far away? They are just young usually, their bones will thicken but this is just an extreme example of what i mean

Myke Tyson is an example of this, he just looks large to me that his 5'10 height is just subconsciously ignored by my brain
