The real stats are, most people start balding in their late teens or early twenties, its just a slow process for most people, nw0 is quite rare, even in people my age. I see lots of nw1-2.

I was reading an article on hair transplants... a bit of it went something like, "generally people who bald at a young age have worse hairloss than others at an older age"

At least for my father it is true. He became norwood 2 at 20 and is still norwood 2 at 60. I am almost norwood 2 now too on one side but I can cope bc I know I most likely will not get bald
 
Technological advancements means the norwood reaper is more efficient at his job. That's why more and more people are balding earlier and it will continue to get worse.
