The story of a boy who became a hero

So last year in my small city everything was peaceful and all however there was some weird, mad scientist named frank who would always be crafting things in his garage. No one thought much of it but we all knew this man had a deep hatred for the city after they had installed a rail road very close to his house. That same year Franks wife had died causing him to lose his mind. Despite being mildly of put by franks behavior I still walked past his house quite often however on that brisk Saturday morning something caught my attention, I decided to take a look in his garage were i found his plans to destroy the entire city, struck with fear and bewilderment i rushed to the authoritys. And as you may have guessed they didnt believe a word I said. For the next week I could barely sleep, I tossed and turned filled with angst and an impending sense of doom and despair. That night I said if no one else will stop this madness I'll give it my all. I trained like no other, taking everything to the extreme I climbed a mountain and trained with monks who taught me the secret arts. I crafted armored clothing and forged powerful weapons. Fast forward to the day of the attack I was ready and in a battle that lasted three grueling hours I destroyed that mad man who once plotted on my homes demise. The people of the city praised me for my courage and the mayor offered me free luxury house on the edge of town. I humbly declined because my journey was not yet over. I ventured of into the horizon driven by my quest for adventure.
