The Taliban have also always banned sex trafficking including of children, the NATO militaries provided cover and assistance for known kingpins of that as long as they agreed to fight the Taliban. Not to mention the real reason for the war there, opium trafficking. All while NATO airstrikes would kill 100+ innocent people at once.
