The term “conventionally attractive” is stupid

People say it all the time “that’s because they are conventionally attractive”, “she’s not conventionally attractive” ect..

Point is that it implies you can be unconventionally attractive, which you can’t because that’s not how attractiveness works. It’s like they say this specificly to imply other people can still be attractive.

I don’t get why people don’t just say “attractive” likes it’s not that hard to admit some people are attractive and some aren’t.
