Ive seen lots of winners in my life. People who crushed impossible odds and one trait I've noticed among them all is an unrelenting will.

The real trait winners share isn't endless fire or zero doubt it is stubbornness. They feel the same hesitation, fear of wasting time, or what if I fail thoughts as anyone ebut they don't wait for those feelings to vanish.

They take the next step anyway, send the message, show up to practice, make the tweak. Action happens despite the noise in their head not because it's gone but because they move regardless because they have conviction

It's not heroic like they show in the movies or some self help book says, it's just deciding daily that moving forward beats standing still in regret. Fortune always favors the brave and the world rewards those who refuse to fold.

The real winners are those who were born with good genetics.

There are situations where not taking action is the smarter move.
You can just as easily regret taking an action as you can regret not taking an action.

Also, You can try and try forever and still never be successful. Trying hard is not a guarantee of success.
You basically just observed that "all winners (that I know) tried hard to win", this does not mean that everyone who tries hard wins.

Trying is a necessity for victory, not a cause.
(Although it isn't even always a necessity, as there are niche situations where victory can fall in someones lap. This is rare and unusual of course, and not something that should be banked on)

You absolutely should try hard to win. But there can come a point where your efforts exceed the value of your goal.
Where even if you do win, it will be a phyrric victory.

This is valid and seems rational but to be honest, I find the regret of not trying hard for a particular goal to inflict upon me a greater pain than any phyrric victory would, I'm not saying this is the case for everyone but honestly speaking the pain of regret is one that I personally cannot stand. I would rather try my absolute hardest for a seemingly improbable goal than to not try at all, i always end up wondering" what could've " no matter how hyper rational and cold one is while evaluating ROI, pros cons before setting a goal and pursuing it. This does not however imply or mean you should setup dumb hyper unrealistic goals or whatever but that's just my personal opinion.

You basically just described the just world fallacy I get that hardwork =! Desirable outcome. However, if it's a pre-requesite for any successful person, you might aswell have at it, since the pain regret inflicts upon one is far greater than trying and failing.
