This thread is dedicated to the truth about sacrifices and delayed gratification.
Have you ever noticed that everything that feels good in the present, such as junk food, watching movies, watching youtube, masterbating and anything else that gives instant dopamine, all have bad consequences? There really isn’t anything that can make you feel amazingly good instantly that doesn’t cost you something. Going to the gym, running, doing that extra bit of studying that you don’t want to do, or simply eating healthy all makes you feel bad in the moment, but in the end makes you a better person.. Junk food tastes good, but isn’t good for you. Healthy good taste bad, but is very good for you. Now, with that said, do you think it is a coincidence? Why isn’t there any extremely tasty food that is very healthy long term? Think about it, really just think about it… The world would be in a very crazy state if instant gratification improves you, because then improvement would be useless. It is all a challenge to your mentality and your mental strength.
TLDR:
Everything that gratifies you instantly has consequences, everything that dissatisfies you instantly improves you. Do you think it’s a co-incidence?
