Heres why for certain people skin maxxing is a cope

1. Shit coloring
Shit coloring cannot be fixed. You can try copes like vitamin c but vitamin c is hard to penetrate skin and even when it does its effects at inhibiting melanin is extremely low and temporary. same thing with pretty much every otc skin lightener. Hydroquinone is the only thing that will actually work but even hydroquinone has issues
- you cant evenly distribute it perfectly meaning if you use hydroquinone you will have light patches on your face so you will still have discoloration
- after discontinued use your color will likely return back to how it is. Hydroquinone doesnt stop melanin production it just lowers the current ammount of melanin currently on face so when you shed those skin cells youll go back to being a pajeet
On top of this its extremely expensive (up to $100 for like a months supply) and you need prescription

2. Texture
A good skin care routine can help lower skin roughness by removing excess skin cells. However the overall structure of your pores and the rate of keratinization is purely genetic

3. Wrinkles
No ammount of copes will fix deep wrinkles. The best you can do is reduce their appearence with tret but doesnt reverse them. You can get a filler but their temporary

4. Scars
Scars can only be fixed by microneedling and even then their appearance is just reduced not ultimately fixed

5. Acne
99% of products otc are cope. Tret is one of the only things that can fix all acne (but some peoples skin is less acne prone and weaker products is enough). Issue is some people have genetically influenced acne meaning even if they do a skin care routine to remove it it will probably rebound when they stop using it

To low iq individuals who cant read by no means is this thread saying “dont do skin care” or “skin care wont work”. Everyone should do skin care but you need to realize if your skin is genetically fucked you can only go so far

Carnivore + semen retention are the only skin cares that work

Coloring can kinda be fixed, e.g. skin whitening + tret + lycopene or something else for undertones
Texture can be improved for sure, what do you mean structure of your pores? pores i'm pretty sure can be shrunk to a smaller size with BHA/AHAs.
Wrinkles too can be improved significantly
scars - i don't know but dermarolling should help
acne - tret.
Hydroquinone is not expensive at all, dunno where you're buying from.
cope thread tbh

Skin whitening products are all cope and only work temporarily. Combining them with tret and lycopene is just speeding up their effects but wont make them any more permanent.

Pores cant be shrunk bhas and ahas just destroy dead skin cells within them which makes them appear smaller but the skin cells will still build up if you have bad keratinization

Wrinkles can be improved with laser therapy or tret but both of those are temporary and expensive

Dermarolling doesnt fix scars it just covers it up. Its like piling up white snow on top of a pile of brown shit over time the snow melts and u have the scar again. Also everyones body has limited collagen production even with microneedling

One tiny packet of hydroquinone like this can range from $20-50 and doesnt even last you a month. If you plan on buying these for the rest of your life go ahead.

Cope response tbh

And what about phenol peel ?

And what about phenol peel ?
It can lighten skin permanently but u have to get a deep phenol peel.

Issue is it likely wouldnt treat discoloration cause instead of hyperpigmentation you will get hypopigmentation. Also it would still rely on how light your skin is underneath if you are already dark skin it will only lighten a shade or two

What if these people do phenol peel, and then other looksmaxxes afterwards to lighten their skin and further reduce scars, like using fillers and microneedling ?

@Nick.Harte also be sure if you get a phenol peel u wear sunscreen all the time cause ur skin will be extremely sensitive for the rest of your life and its non reversable. Since melanin is what protects you and youve practically destroyed ur main skin layer u are extremely prone to skin cancer

Seems extremely risky if you dont mind the possibility of skin cancer. Also phenol peeling will likely lead to more scarring anyways

Thanks man. I was considering getting a phenol peel in the past but now I’ve realised that it’s already over for me though.

Try at your own risk. If coloring is severely holding you back then go for it
