The internet promised us unlimited connection. The irony is that the people that spend the most time on it are the ones farthest removed from being a part of a social group.
We evolved in tribes where brotherhood was key to survival.
What do people expect will happen when this automatic part of life is removed?
Society became so secular. One can now survive without having to have friends. This was never possible until now.
The innate need for friends for survival took care of our social needs in one swoop.
The current social construct is the anthisesis to this.
I for real am considering enroling in university just to have some automatic shared need with other people.
