People living in the USA are in a sort of "bubble", with no readily available information on the outside world. When's the last time one of our news channels (CNN, FOX) showed actual WORLD NEWS? That's right- NEVER. We are living in a society where we are given absolutely no information on events that are occurring in other Countries.

You are right that these big companies like CNN keep us out of the loop, but all you have to do to find out about world events is go search for them online. But of course most people wont even do this, they will just read the garbage on facebook or twitter or the CNN homepage. The average american probably cant even find china on a map. Canada is in quarantine also but not entirely, I live near the Montreal area though so we are in quarantine here since it is in the red zone.

And our borders are closed, nobody can go in or out.
