Was surprised there were no good guides with regards to fashion so thought I'd make one myself.

To preface, this guide will be mostly geared towards people 18 and above, I'm in my early 20s therefore i can't really guide 16 year olds as what to wear.

The most important theory when it comes to style and fashion rule of thirds. This is where the top portion of your outfit makes up roughly one third of your overall silhouette, while the trousers take up the remaining two thirds. It elongates the legs (making you look taller), improves proportions, and results in a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing look.

Another key concept is the V shaped silhouette, (mirroring the ideal male physique) where you're broader at the chest and shoulders, tapering down to a slimmer waist. Your clothing should reinforce this. That means the top should lay flat and follow your frame without being overly tight or excessively loose.

1748908259586
1748908268218
1748908275454

All that being said, good fitting clothing is extremely important, if you're overweight (over 12% BF) clothing will not look good on you.

1748908159660

THE QUINTESSENTIALS:
These are the essential items you should own. They're timeless, versatile, and will form the backbone of your wardrobe.

TOPS:

You want to own several t-shirts in black and white, these will serve as the foundation of most outfits. Whether you’re wearing them on their own or layered under jackets or sweaters, well fitting, high quality t-shirts are the most useful pieces you can own. These must fit as shown in the images below.

1748908482765
1748908580277
1748908666873

A quality sweater adds depth to your layers. Wool or cashmere is ideal, though cotton works fine.

With regards to colours, black and grey work great. Crewnecks are ideal but V neck sweaters can work great over dress shirts but can come off as ‘preppy’

1748908897774
1748908962037

Owning good quality dress shirts as a man is mandatory, they convey maturity. Personally I’d opt for white, light blue, or pale pink in either solid or striped patterns.

The most overlooked part of a dress shirt is both the material and fit. A lot of cheaper dress shirts are made with dog shit polyester that will both kill your test and make you look like a car salesman, you want to go for full cotton dress shirts that are not labelled as 'non iron'.

In the summer months linen dress shirts also look great.

1748909123578
1748909136425

Polo shirts are highly versatile. You should opt for cotton or wool for these. Colour is up to preference as they’re quite versatile, both short and long sleeve polos work.

1748909183889
1748909188421
1748909194506

Henleys are a good alternative to both the t-shirt and long sleeve polo and have gained popularity recently. They look best on lean gymcel physiques. One potential issue is that they do look quite metrosexual, which isn't really an issue but could be for some I suppose.

1748908532148

Pretty much a wardrobe staple for casual wear. Fit is extremely important for a hoodie, you do not want a long hoodie that comes down to your ball sack area. Lighter hoodies are better for layering; heavyweight hoodies bulk up your frame in an unflattering way.

1748909307388

Quite a basic item but the most mogger thing you can wear in the summer months, given you have the physique for it.

They look great layered with an open linen dress shirt and also look great when just worn on their own. Just please don't wear a tank top if you have truecel shoulders as you will look extremely retarded.

1748909384922

Jackets:

MO the most versatile item a man can own, leather jackets pair well with nearly everything: dress shirts, polos, hoodies, tank tops.

A leather jacket will give you instant halo and make you look immensely more masculine and mature. The most important aspect to a leather jacket is the material, they have to be made of real leather which means they'll be quite expensive, just don't buy a cheaper dog shit fake plastic leather jacket, they look horrible.

1748909557323
1748909575028
1748909653528

A good layering piece that can serve a similar purpose to leather jackets, albeit with a more casual tone. Neutral colours like mid blue or black are best.

1748909704154

An anglo classic, these are versatile in the sense they look great layered with a sweater or a dress shirt, Harrington jackets exert class. Grey and beige are good colour choices.

1748909896709

TROUSERS:

Not really much to say about these, they look great in most colours and have a great silhouette. Fit is forgiving and hard to get wrong.

These work well if you get the taper right. They shouldn’t hug your thighs but should still create a narrower silhouette than standard straight fits. Other than that, they look great with pretty much anything.

A niche item that’s trending again. I'd generally only recommend these if you own a pair of chelsea boots as it's where they look best.

Fit is quite hard to pull off with these and you should be both quite tall and have slim legs, these will not look good if you're bulkier in the legs or are a manlet. Overall they're quite versatile and look great with any outfit tbh.

1748910138794

These act as a more refined alternative to jeans, the fit should be similar to that of straight jeans with a clean drape down the leg.

1748910246983

SHOES:

My favourite pair of shoes I own. These have been in style for years and with reason, not only do they add 2-3 inches to your height they look great with pretty much every style.

Elasticised versions are the most common version but it doesn't really matter. Personal recommendation would be any of the chelsea boots made by Saint Laurent, they all look great and are expertly crafted.

1748910415618

Not much to say about these, they're great.

These look great during the summer months, just pair it with the smarter canvas/poplin trousers or even perhaps a pair of linen trousers, loafers with a slight heel are best as they add a bit of height given the soles are quite small.

Pretty similar to the white leather sneakers, they look great and are versatile.

CONCLUSION:

In conclusion, these items should really make up the backbone of your wardrobe and work as a base. You can expand from here, experimenting with colours, textures or even statement pieces, but the essentials above should be your foundation. Get the fit right, follow core silhouette principles, and you should be good.

And most importantly, if you ever need fashion inspo just browse pinterest.

Crop out the faces in the images and the outfits will still look aesthetically pleasing.

A good proportionate outfit gives an instant SMV boost, just ask any foid what they think of Jacob Elordi.

Face is everything but when it comes to overall appeal style is extremely important.

So do you browse pinterest every morning for an outfit, find something you like and then have the clothing items instantly teleported to your house for you to wear?

What an insanely brain dead response.

All that being said, good fitting clothing is extremely important, if you're overweight (over 12% BF) clothing will not look good on you.

A quality sweater adds depth to your layers. Wool or cashmere is ideal, though cotton works fine.

With regards to colours, black and grey work great. Crewnecks are ideal but V neck sweaters can work great over dress shirts but can come off as ‘preppy’

Polo shirts are highly versatile. You should opt for cotton or wool for these. Colour is up to preference as they’re quite versatile, both short and long sleeve polos work.

Henleys are a good alternative to both the t-shirt and long sleeve polo and have gained popularity recently. They look best on lean gymcel physiques. One potential issue is that they do look quite metrosexual, which isn't really an issue but could be for some I suppose.

Pretty much a wardrobe staple for casual wear. Fit is extremely important for a hoodie, you do not want a long hoodie that comes down to your ball sack area. Lighter hoodies are better for layering; heavyweight hoodies bulk up your frame in an unflattering way.

Quite a basic item but the most mogger thing you can wear in the summer months, given you have the physique for it.

They look great layered with an open linen dress shirt and also look great when just worn on their own. Just please don't wear a tank top if you have truecel shoulders as you will look extremely retarded.

A good layering piece that can serve a similar purpose to leather jackets, albeit with a more casual tone. Neutral colours like mid blue or black are best.

View attachment 3795308

An anglo classic, these are versatile in the sense they look great layered with a sweater or a dress shirt, Harrington jackets exert class. Grey and beige are good colour choices.

These act as a more refined alternative to jeans, the fit should be similar to that of straight jeans with a clean drape down the leg.

(would have attached more pics but I hit the file limit)

wearing a band t shirt at the age of 25 is pure cagefuel
mb I didn't know you were that old I thought you were teenaged like most users
in that case yeah I agree in some cases but if you're just heading out then not really becouse everyone wears them
unless it's like a clairo t shirt in that case you're signalling to everyone that you're a predator
go on a date to a restaurant with a foid in ur 20s and wear a band t shirt, see the reception you’ll get from her
why tf would you dress casually to a fancy restauarnt
have you ever gotten an autism screaning or went to a psychiatrist and how did they evaluate you be honest
that's obvs not what I meant
and guess what retard spending 2 hours of your time to make a thread where you say "dress shirts are mature wear them in and wear sweaters in winter oh and own t shirts they're very important (now here are pictures of good looking people with t shirts on to reinforce my point)" does not help anyone and like I said simply searching "outfit ideas" on pinterest and saving the ones you like would be a better ROI than reading this regarded thread
if you really want to contribute something new then post about how to style for certain aesthetics or niches (jim morrison, christopher reeve, peter o toole, paul newman, steve mcqueen)
or post about something like formal styling archetypes that professional hollywood stylists use
for example in the most popular one (kibbe archetype, although it's primarily for actresses) clav fits the romantic archetype so his style archetype looks best with fitted clothes with a waist emphasis, smooth textures, light fabrics, curved silhouettes, no sharp contrast or color clashing, regardless none of this matters because if you look good you could put on a leather rag sold to you by a bedouin in the sahara desert and have it be aesthetic
