all the sons of rich business owners, all those legacy kids with generational connections they’re off at big state unis or ivies, places that treat their students like future investments. penn athletics literally just got a $20 million donation from a former penn state wrestler, former ceo of charles schwab. these big schools invest in future ceos, hedge fund babies, startup founders, all of it’s plugging you into a lifelong network of wealth and influence. of course none of it matters if you don’t meet the base threshold

Water. That’s why history of arts students at Oxford get more lucrative offers than a STEM student at some shit uni.

If it’s not top 100 in the world ( with some exceptions), it’s better not to go.

That's too much of a deviation, of course Oxford vs Uni of Teeside is a huge difference, but outside of Oxbridge and other top 10 unis it doesn't matter that much, even in Russel Group

In the UK, there’s only really 10-15 unis worth going to. Obviously this is mainly to get jobs in finance, law, consulting ect.

Most top jobs only look at targets and some very good semi targets. Especially if you’re from an average background with no connections

I'd say more like under 10, even most Russel Groups arent targeted like that
