Little girl is punished by her school for writing “any life” under a BLM drawing, parents pursue legal defense because this violates the first amendment and the judge rules that the child is too young to have first amendment rights.

This will be another story that just passes by in the midst of a zillion other stories but this is incredible what you are seeing. A decade ago something like this would have been UNTHINKABLE but now it is commonplace.

A judge saying that a child is not protected by the first amendment is insanity yet this will not receive the backlash it deserves. A decade ago this person would have guaranteed lost their job for even suggesting such a thing, 2 decades ago this would have been a major news story. Now nobody cares.

This is how the US falls, not in one large hostile take over but little by little having all its values subverted and ignored. In the past the average American would have been enraged by such a ruling but now chances are the average person agrees with it.

Every now and then you get a glimpse into how far gone we are, you see a story that completely baffles you in its absurdity but unfortunately the people who understand the value of the situation are not the kinds of people who will riot on the street and burn down the local Walmart if they don’t get their way. They are the civilized type and unfortunately they are too civilized for their own good because as much as I dislike the “Summer of Love” it was a show of force that the powers at be were forced to pay attention to. Those people understood that if the rules are not being applied fairly (in their opinion) if you cannot get your way or are prevented from getting your way through a civilized means then the only thing left to do is to force situations to bend to your will. Conservatives should be rioting over such a decision by the judge but unfortunately that will never happen, because they still believe in the lie of civil society.
