In terms of LMS, 80% of males are secondary characters. In terms of looks / raw sexual attraction, 90-95% of men lost that lottery at birth, which means that they can never attract women as easily as breathing the air, like what chad protagonists do in movies. They're also very unlikely to get the one they genuinely desire.
Reasonably speaking, most men have to stay that way, willingly accepting their role as invisible coolies, otherwise the society would collapse. But on a personal, selfish, pragmatic note, I'd rather perish than stay within the 80%. Hence the get looks or die hyperbole.
