Sometimes i have a feeling that everything we are fed through media news etc is a lie and has some agenda behind it.
Unless we can verify things by ourselves how can be believe something to be true?

Everything is a lie. We are in darkness.

And we can not do anything about it

I was reading about the Kashmir conflict and i got really confused

Who am i supposed to trust? The seperatists or the Indian Army.
All the information i am getting through internet could be a lie used for personal gain.

The seperatists want azaad kashmir whereas the Army wants kashmir united with India.
Each party has their own agenda. Who am i supposed to trust?

Considering there's a curfew in Kashmir since August 2019, thousands have been detained and there's a communications blackout I would say the civilians are suffering either way. Army or separatists; there's only one who's really suffering the most and receiving punishment for it.

Yeah.
I just dont like the ambiguous nature of this.

All the war crimes happening. Are they true or is it just seperatist propaganda to fuel hatred among the people against India.

Nothing can be trusted. Absolutely nothing

I believe the UN has published reports on war crimes being committed; and they seemed unbiased. They reported that indeed the army has committed war crimes, but that separatists have also committed war crimes for various reasons. But the overwhelming percentage of these were done by the army. In my opinion I think Kashmir should be a separate country, then this entire bullshit can end once and for all. I just want the civilians to be safe and not suffer from repercussions because of what separatists do. Because whenever separatists attack the army, the army takes revenge by harming the civilians in barbaric ways. But it's not only in Kashmir. Look at other things that have been happening in India. I've been reading articles from New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, et cetera. So it's not like it's propaganda meant to defame India as if they serve Pakistani interest, but rather to show people something is wrong and there are certain, internal parties to blame for this such as the central government.
