You have more time and energy to get good at that particular thing. Starting older just leads to a whole host of problems: mainly you don’t have enough time to reach your pinnacle of skill.

Everything stems from the roots. Especially when you're young and have a lot more opportunities and your brain is at its peak neuroplasticity. You won't have as good as a life if your parents didn't set you up for success from early childhood.

Yep, parents destroyed me socially in my youth and I still haven’t recovered. I don’t think I’ll ever will.
