People reduce sunlight to vitamin d. But it’s also a specific spectrum of light, not just a thing to create a chemical in your skin. It affects the circadian clock, infrared light is thought to have many benefits, getting sun means you are going outside which means different air.

I expose to sun daily rigorously, but I apply sunscreen on the face to prevent wrinkles, with even more rigor

Same. I wear hood to protect neck and sides of face and EARS

I always neglect my ears from sunscreen so hood is good

keep in mind infrared light and red light do not make your body produce vitamin D.
only UV radiation that damages skin triggers endogenous vitamin D production.
luckily if you intake vitamin D from supplements, you may still be good without damanging your skin.

Personally, I prefer to expose skin of arms and legs to sundamage in order to produce natural vitamin D

it also facilitates a deathnic transformation so idk

btw if you want the sun to regulate circadian rhythm you need to expose your retinas to sunlight

That’s True, and sunscreen doesn’t affect that so that’s good. Sunglasses could be unhealthy
