It's akin to yin-yang. Women have long hair, men have short. Women like traits/features that men have. High estrogen likes = high testosterone. Much like how it's weird if a dude likes women who have very short hair. Yeah sure you might find guys who like women that have like 1 inch of hair on their head, but it's much more niche. Men with short hair will always do better than guys with long hair, all things the same (only changing the hair length, nothing else)

I had long hair down to my shoulders and to my chest for 5 years or so in my early to mid 20s, i think it attracts foids but also the other half of foids don't want a feminine guy with long hair, only very few tall msucular chads can pull of the masculine look with long hair. I think buzzcut/very short hair is knida shit unless you have very defined features. I'm ugly but i got endless amount of compliments on my hair during those years and would get stares from foids everywhere. Ironically i also like shorter hair on girls if they're cute but long aswell. It helped that long hair helped cover up my big ears JFL and made my face better kinda. Now i have medium length hair with a fringe which isn't bad actually.
