there’s a theory that your appearance doesn’t just change how others treat you — it changes who you become at your core. not just emotionally, but morally, psychologically, behaviorally. it’s why you’ll notice a pattern: good looking people tend to be more relaxed, socially smooth, sometimes even indifferent. bad looking people, on the other hand, often come off as obsessive, anxious, or intense. and the reason is simple. good looking people grow up in a world that gives them validation without effort. they get smiles for just existing. they’re invited in, included, liked before they speak. that kind of early and constant reward creates a personality that’s secure, chill, and emotionally regulated. they don’t have to fight for attention, so they don’t cling to it.
but bad looking people get a completely different script. they grow up ignored, rejected, sometimes mocked. they’re not given affection freely. they have to earn it, chase it, and often still fail. this creates obsession. a deep hunger. a desperation to be seen, to be chosen, to be enough. and over time, that hunger becomes behavior. they get more intense, more fixated, more desperate to break the cycle. some start stalking. some break social norms. some spiral into crime. it’s not because they’re evil. it’s because deprivation twisted their core. the longer you live in a state of emotional starvation, the more extreme your reactions become. no one becomes obsessed out of nowhere. it’s a slow burn from being constantly denied what others receive freely.

TL;DR:
good looking people are treated with warmth and acceptance, which makes them calm, secure, and socially stable. bad looking people are rejected and starved of affection, which leads to obsession, desperation, or even crime. your appearance writes the script, but the world’s reaction to it is what turns it into your fate.

This isn’t really true a lot of good looking people are neurotic and obsessive and violent and generally social nuisances with the opposite being true oftentimes for average or bad looking people

I'm ugly but I don't want to be a bad person
