You have to know which cryptocurrencies are going to be more valued in the future.

You do this through research of specific cryptocurrencies, finance, the economy, world markets, politics, mass phycology, and other large trends then build a model of what you believe will happen in the future. It's about understanding not just the details of one cryptocurrency over another but the big picture and historical context.

Not giving specific advice because I don't wanna get sued and you would have no way of knowing if what I said was legit without doing your own research anyways.

But this may interest you, the richest man in the world (Elon Musk) just realized the value of Bitcoin. He doesn't understand it's market cycles, it's trends, it's supply shocks, the growth of the Defi Sector, or barely anything about the space at all. The richest man of the world is 12 years late to the game and still almost completely ignorant. You can have an edge on the richest people in the world just by putting in fifty hours of research or so, and an even bigger edge if you put in more.

Think about that time, 50 hours of research at minimum wage vs the exponential gains of researching and understanding bigger trends. Or if you put in 100 hours of research or 200 hours you could have even more. It's about investing your time intelligently and in economically efficient ways. This doesn't just apply to crypto it applies to any niche or space you want to gain an edge in.

You study the coin, the team behind it, see it's trading volume, the market cap, look at the code,,,etc there a lot of ways to ensure that the coin you are going to invest in will make you profits. But there's of course a chance to lose it. Just hold if that happens tbh you don't know what will the future entails. Some people sold BTC when it was crashing because they thought that they lost it all. 1 BTC is almost 40 k right now jfl.
