What I always assumed is that men set the trends of what is considered powerful, and correspondingly, women set the trends of what is attractive. In Mexico for example, they love humble-yet-masculine rags-to-riches stories and thus have a lot of characters in both television and music who are lionised this way: There is a reason why El Chapo hit such a resounding note with so many Mexicans (and has massive merchandising power with companies selling shit with his face on it), and not nearly because of the power of his outfit.

Of course it's the same for women, they all like different niches and type of guys, but the catch is that just like for guys, they ALL like attractive guys. A guy can be "Just their type" and that makes him more attractive, but at the end of the day, an attractive guy is an attractive guy no matter his style.

Like for example in your group of friends you could have one guy who likes skater girls, one who likes goths, one who likes tomboys, and one who likes bookish girls. Do you really think that if they met a 8/10 girl that isn't their "type" they wouldn't be attracted to her?
Of course they would be attracted to her. Style preferences influence whether or not you find a girl attractive just a little bit, but it doesn't turn an ugly girl into a hot girl or an hot girl into an ugly girl.

This very same mechanism applies to how women see men; they may wish to change something about the guy, but if he's attractive, they'll find him attractive as long as he doesn't present himself in a ridiculously outlandish way (like, idk, a blue mohawk).

Although they will always be attracted to good looking guys, this doesn't mean the overall "vibe" you project can't resonate strongly with certain girls. She can be average. It's just that men BOTH find average women attractive and they have less options.

Women go for a particular look but it just so happens that it's easier to pull that look off (Style etc) if you are good looking or tall and average. It's still possible as an average looking dude or even a below and sometimes even kinda ugly looking but requires finesse and a lot of NT behaviour.

It's just that unlike previous generations, including mine, the Millennials, Zoomer guys that are average and/or below aren't willing to make those adjustments and improvisations because of what they see online. I always thought of PSL/SMV/irl to be 3 different ways to gauge this. PSL is just face, SMV contains height,frame,maybe tattoos etc, irl can contain status.

Maybe if you have strong jaw, it matters less to you on girls, because you arleady have those genes to pass (if they are dominant)? Maybe eye area matters to you more
