There is so much more than just looksmaxxing.
It may sound like "cope" but in reality, it's the truth.
The goal should be to improve yourself in every aspect as much as you can.
In education, wisdom, fitness, your career, and more.
Go for a walk in nature sometimes, think about the world, read a book on philosophy, I personally prefer something like Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.
But not just that, philosophy is so much more. Read something by Plato, Karl Marx (even if you're not a communist, just knowing this will expand your knowledge, you'll understand people so much better, and eventually come up with new ideas).
Read something about history or the human body.
TRY TO EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE!
But why?
Knowledge is the key. A key for your career, a key for new thoughts.
If you read more important books (something that educates you, not just comics or manga), eventually, you'll be able to connect this information.
That's amazing. It’s not the book itself, but your ability to connect the information.
For example, if you read something about communism and capitalism, you'll eventually be able to identify the flaws, connect the two, and form your own opinion.
This isn’t just for philosophy, it’s the same for other topics like fitness or chess. Eventually, you can connect something from philosophy and fitness, or philosophy and chess.
Learn how to argue in a philosophical, logical way.
Learn how to read a book.
How to read a book? What do you mean by that?
"Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested."
-Francis Bacon
This means that some books should be read in parts, others more casually, and a few with diligence and attention.
In my opinion, you shouldn’t read every book like a novel.
Decide how much you actually need to read the book.
Go through the text, grab some highlighters, and mark important words or information.
Like these:
Then, write a brief summary of the text in your own words.
Career
I don’t want to go into too much detail, but this is one of the most important aspects of your life.
Be good in school, study for your exams, and try to do your best.
A good job will usually pay you better, and when you have a better job and more money, you can help yourself and the people around you. You will tend to be respected more.
For example, I’m almost 17. I’m doing a training program where I attend school one day a week and work 4 days a week to become a machine operator. It’s not the greatest job, but with good grades, I have the opportunity to go to a better school and maybe even to college or university later.
That’s why I go until 8:30 pm after job school, which starts around 7:35 am, to attend a class for higher education.
Looksmaxxing
Looksmaxxing should just be a part of your life, not everything.
When you have the body you always wanted, when you have the muscles you always wanted, when you have the body fat percentage you always wanted, you’re still just a regular guy who looks good with some muscles.
Eat healthy, train, educate yourself, be better than the person you were yesterday, and remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
There’s this rule:
To master something, you need 10,000 hours.
You can’t do it in one day, one week, or one month.
But what you can do is dedicate 2 hours every day, and the hours will accumulate over time.
Then, the goal you thought was so far off will eventually not seem so distant anymore.
You won’t know your potential until you try.
