What do u mean op? you wont get bone support and zygo prominence by just canthopexy? if u are talking about eye shape, u still need some fat/bone support for natural looking results and account for aging process (skin elasticity) in the long term (not sure though). Plus consult multiple surgeons, some surgeons are just salesmen.

which suregon?

funny. because that is just something people parrot from dr taban and dr.y who make the big money by selling these implants

"if u are talking about eye shape, u still need some fat/bone support for natural looking results and account for aging process (skin elasticity) in the long term"

where are the studies that proves this claim. david gandy or that guy have close to no under eye support

their "under eye support" is far from perfect yet their lower eyelid are tight as they can be and doesnt look unnatural too

and lets not forget that taban implants are not placed where many people think they get placed but are basically just another form of tear through implants. do you have big tear through? well then you dont need them

mirin these surgery blackpills
same exact thought but

are you sure the surgeon in the OP was talking about infraorbital implants with vertical projection too?

just looking at infra orbital rim implant results they do seem to provide lower lid changes at the medial area where lower eyelid retraction surgery doesn't augment from what I've seen

I think we both agree an amazing eye area can be achieved without insane under eye support. Obviously you mentioned gandy which is a good example, but remember that gandy's lack of under eye area support is a flaw. Not even psl legends are flawless. Its also what leads to accentuating his hooked nose. His side profile is his worst angle. There are many examples that prove negative orbital vector and eye area support is not a death sentence though. When your trying to create the perfect middle third, some prominence as well as a neutral orbital vector (side profile) is needed. Im not a taban/yaremchuk fanboy, so i don't agree with everything they say and they are capable of fucking up.

I think what your referring the orbital vector. This is what I meant in terms of aging

however, I'll admit i still have a lot to learn in terms of the middle third

Under eye support is everything imo. Nothing is more aesthetic.
