No reason you shouldn't be on it. Especially if you have no visible hairloss. It is the only legit way to stop balding and it only works if you start early before you have noticeable hairloss. I've been doing fin for years and have had no side effects. While finasteride does not work forever it can seriously stop balding during your early years when it matters most. My derm says my hair looks really good as well. Just LOL at not taking the fin pill.

If I can convince one person to take fin with this thread than I have succeeded. I have lost too many friends to premature balding. It is a horrible but preventable for of incledom.

East eurasian genes do not prevent balding. Just cause you are a mexican or some shit doesn't mean you won't go bald. Every man is losing hair. If you are straight haired than it will look particularly ugly as well. Just get on fin.

Exactly why I'm planning on starting it when I'm 20, I'm nw0 and I want to keep it that way.

I think if your grandfather on both of your family's side never developed a receding hairline their entire lives that might be a reason to avoid fin, but if a male member of your family has undeniable hairloss then yeah, there is no reason to hop on it to be preventative.

I think one thing I might wanna do actually is get like an empirical monitor of my haircount, hop on fin and then maybe like 2 years later after hopping on it to see if it's improved, stayed the same, etc.

I think there is some way to do that but I forgot what it's called, do you know what I'm talking about? A way to measure your haircount/thickness?
