Women's looks are mainly enhanced via external elements such as fake eyelash extensions, tons of makeup, etc

The examples you give of men are roids and hairstyles, and although i opposse the use of steroids because of the harm of it, the muscular growth is still part of your physical body and it's own possibilities after enhancing it with such elements. Hair is straight part of yourself, it's not artificial in any way. Same as using minoxidil which is nonetheless a sort of steroids for hair, it is still part of your physical possibilities after having access to that element, just like lifting weights will always allow you to grow more muscle than living in an environment in which you can't do so.
