I've known a lot of people who have owned dogs and cats who are absolute psychopaths. They don't care about the animals' wellbeing at all. They only own animals to impress others and to satisfy their own egos. No animal should ever be in a household that treats it like an object and an extension of the owner. This thread was also inspired by my previous venting thread where I told I was humiliated because I was looking out for someone's dogs safety.
