There's no point in rating people with just pics

Pictures are so misleading. Focal length, lighting, background, solo vs. group shot, pixel density, proximity to lens all drastically change how you rate someone. You can take photos of any normie and make then look 4.5 or 6.5. If you're in the 4-7 range (which 90% of psl is), then it's impossible to rate you based on pics. You can make yourself look anywhere in that range depending on how you take the pic.

I was looking for pics of James Deen for a previous thread and I could take pics that put him anywhere in that 4-7 range. Here's a solo pic with good even lighting and taken at angle that highlights his angularity. It makes him look 6/10:

But then I can put him a group shot where he's further away from the camera so it looks like he's getting sizemogged by a woman. Now he's 5/10:

What if we backlight him and give him a soft focus background in a close up shot? Now he's back up to 6+

But, wait, now he's shot from below at an unflattering angle. He's clearly 4/10:

So wtf is his rating? No one can tell. It all depends on what pics you take. Rating people based on a few pics is pointless. All you can say is whether someone is truly subhuman, normie tier, or Chad. I can clearly tell a Chad and a subhuman. Banger looks like a subhuman in every pic. Orb looks like a Chad in every pic. But normies look like totally different people based on their pics. Fuck trying to say someone is 5/10 or 6.25/10. I'm done trying to rate people on pics. I need to see people irl to make any sort of estimate.

And here's a week back when I'd lost a ton of weight and began using a better camera.

I'll be glad to post updates in a couple of months once gyms are open of how I look on this forum, as far as looks were concerned I am doing genetically ok, but that's not even why this thread was made. This was a debate to do with lens distortion and suddenly we've got a troll turning it into something else.

It's not also to do with motion actually.

My theory is that the lens "simplifies" your face into one "tight-package" and that package exposes your imperfections, any small asymmetry you have and especially any fat that you have in your face. The lens cannot simplify a round face accurately, because there are no corners. So the rounder your face, the worse you will look.

Here's a black-pill. If you do have a round-face, you can forget ever looking good in pictures. However with low body fat an oval/triangle face can still look fairly good. You see despite some oval/triangle faces carrying fairly solid jaw-lines, they still get diminished in the lens. Square and rectangle face jawlines rarely ever suffer under the scrutiny of the camera, unless the person is high body fat and even then it needs to be fairly high body fat.

The counterpoint to this would be, while this may be so, most ways of hooking-up and/or getting a wifey in today's market are through Tinder/Bumble/Instagram and so how you look in photos, basically is how you look in reality, even if it isn't. If that makes sense? It's how you look in photos that gets your foot in the door, sort of thing.

PS: I know there are a ton of narrow-minded people here who are pretty much only able to think on topics such as these through a red/black-pill ideological lens, so I expect a lot hate and trolling, but for those who aren't mid-wits or are open minded enough to think about it, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I always get compliments about my looks from my friend but when i take photo of me it breaks my all self reliance i have round face shape maybe your theory is true because camera really changes proportions especially bad ones it ruins all ratio of your face also most of celebrities its below us because camerans know how to take proper photos and knows which angle is the best for photoshooting and videorecording we just take a photo 30 cm front of our face with shitty camera and expect good looking.It seems logical tbh.
