Is retinol good enough instead of Tret?

retinol is weaker than tretinoin because your skin has to convert it into retinoic acid before it works. tretinoin is already active, making it much stronger and faster. if you want maximum results, go with tretinoin. retinol is only useful if you can’t handle tret’s side effects (peeling, irritation) at first.

you're using a bad sunscreen. get a chemical one like la roche-posay anthelios or biore uv aqua rich for no white cast. If you want mineral, use a tinted version.
