Ehh, I find that autistic people have varying degrees of intelligence; but yeah, I prefer them over normies most of the time. Some are legit assholes though. Complete normies are the worst though, they can detect a weirdo like me as soon as I open my mouth and will shut down completely.

On the other hand, this autistic girl that I know will actually talk to me no problem. Funny thing is she makes zero eye contact with anyone so we talk without even looking at each other, which feels nice since I'm also bothered by eye contact but I've trained myself to push through it.

I've said this before but normies have an intrinsic social cue detection mechanism that allows them to read if someone is weird or not. They'll give off what I like to call a nuerotypical ping and then wait to receive one back. If they don't, then they know the other person is not like them and it gives them an uncanny valley effect.

Since I'm a schizo, I have no idea how to read NT social cues and on top of that I have social paranoia so I often misinterpret peoples facial expressions. Like I'll be in class and everyone will be looking at me like they don't like me.

I can tell that I spook people too. I can't explain it but I'm really eccentric, if you met me in real life you'd pick up on it immediately. I have an intense gaze, like I'm looking into you. I feel like I can tell things to people just by looking at them a certain type of way
