But then came respecting the idea of a society, where Kings/ rich oligarchs were born
And they would use their influence/access to resources/ monetary wealth (an idea of currency = something that defines your value in society)... to distance themselves relative to the common man (in terms of how much they are worth)

And then the rich/powerful could be in control of more people. It's to do with the idea of exclusivity + power. That's why they are trying to claw to the "top"
And we are currently living in this era right now, where the oligarchies control everything.
But here's the thing. They can't really enforce it. It's the same ceiling ultimately (there's just a veil of law that exists within a society causing this divide)

HOWEVER, when AI and physical robots that are physically/mentally superior to humans come about, that is the point after which there will be no return

Before that point, like right now, it's a human vs human game.
After that, you're introducing the idea of power and executing the power through a perfectly loyal, immensely superior 3rd party that makes the gap between the average man and those at the top, borderline impossible to close
