They should have just held the tournament without fans. The money they make from ticket sales is small compared to the TV revenue. Golf is not that effected by crowd noise. It isn’t like the players come in close contact like Basketball. Since they are the only sporting event they would have killed it in the ratings.

50/50 on the Olympics getting canceled. I think it unlikely the TdF will be cancelled, it is warm and dry in the Mountains in August. British Open I would say is 50/50. I have tickets to this year’s US Open Golf tournament, I see that as 50/50 also.
