Thin hair, is it over for me?

I've been contemplating a change in my hairstyle lately, but I'm struggling to find the fit for my combination of thin hair and diamond face shape. As the styles for thicker hair do not hold really well for thin hair, like I try doing a fringe but my hair just tends to fall on my head on their own and doesn't stay up like in groups. so are there any other hairstyles I could try or should I try focusing on thickening my hair. Also how can I get thicker hair?
