Things done in youth

Imagine that a person was engaged in serious things in his youth and was the king of the criminal business, held a high-ranking person in this world (say, he was a mafia boss). And then you see him walking with his grandson on the street, will it be noticeable by his walk/mannerism/face that once he was an important bird and there are big things behind him?
To me it's a life worth living, i wish it would be me one day

yes, i would definitely see that he was well respected in his youth at the very least.
