Things I hate about my job of one year

-Working with lethargic, uncharismatic teenagers and the same miserable losers/veterans. You’d think a job like this would be fairly lookist but that’s far from the case. There isn’t a single attractive, happy, interesting person there and being around them encourages complacency. What’s the point of ascending if I don’t even access to attractive women and have to sacrifice the few creature comforts i have in the process

-hearing the same shitty music and answering the same stupid questions everyday. Literally every customers fits into 5 basic archetypes—no one ever stands out or leaves any kind of impression on me, and the same goes for new hires. I haven’t been truly interested in a female coworker since November of last year. Life feels so “narrow”/limited to me now—I don’t have the faintest idea of what life outside of my small, shitty bubble could potentially be like anymore

A job at a boutique that plays rap music would probably be okay for a few months while I’m still in school—I don’t think the work is particularly hard. I’m just sick of the routine/my store’s culture. It makes me want to give up on life

Lol, what? That sounds like a nightmare. Pretty much all large, mass-marketed retail chains in my city are staffed by the same subhuman drones.
