When I think about my old Instagram posts, Snapchat stories, my 2024 .org threads and online activity at all I start wanting to kill myself because how could I have been like that

I know im going to think this way about how I am right now in a few years but thats fine, people grow up every single moment of our lives

and if you can successfully larp as not an autist youre fine

You can't larp as non autist normies will detect you

What you can do is try your best to minimize it but it will never be fully hiden

tbh
Im from vienna (capital city) so its fine here but if I went to either one of my home towns I would get made fun off
My grandma often makes fun off me for not having a girlfirend

even tho thats sort of looks based I should be able to atleast get a looksmatch becouse im tall for my age and ltn
but I genuennly have no social skills
my firends once got me to text a gril (they texted) when I was alone she texted me what my hobbies where and I sent her a list of 35games I regularrly played:forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile:
she somehow still wanted to go on a date with me but I got scared and cancelled last minute

Connection between ADHD, dyslexia, and autism

  • ADHD, dyslexia, and autism are all neurodevelopmental differences.
  • They often co-occur (comorbidity).

What research says

  • People with ADHD are more likely to show autistic traits than people without ADHD.
  • Dyslexia is also more common in people with ADHD and/or autism.
  • So if someone has both ADHD and dyslexia, the likelihood of autism is higher than average, but:
    • Most people in this situation do not have autism.

Important points

  • ADHD ≠ autism
  • Dyslexia ≠ autism
  • Someone can have one, two, or all three – they are separate conditions.
  • Only a professional evaluation (psychologist/psychiatrist) can confirm autism.

Summary

  • ✔️ Yes, the risk is higher
  • ❌ No, it is not a certainty
  • 🧠 Overlaps are common, but not automatic

If you want, I can also explain the main differences between ADHD and autism, and common autistic traits that professionals look for.

Do you want me to do that?

Thank you for sharing all of that. From what you’ve described, some of your experiences could be consistent with traits often seen in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but I need to stress that I cannot diagnose you. Only a qualified professional can do that through a detailed assessment.

Here’s a breakdown of what you mentioned and how it relates to common autism traits:

Possible autism-related traits in your description:

  1. Social difficulties / anxiety: Feeling very nervous around strangers and finding social interactions challenging. Many autistic people experience this, though it can also occur in social anxiety disorders.
  2. Strong, specific interests: Intense focus on certain interests for a period of time (like your polos or other topics). This is often called “special interests” in autism.
  3. Repetitive behaviors or routines: Wearing polos for years because you like them could be seen as a preference for consistency.
  4. Difficulty with tasks you’re not interested in: Struggling with things that don’t capture your attention while excelling at topics you enjoy. This is common in ADHD and autism.
  5. Anxiety around numbers or routines: Recounting money multiple times could reflect anxiety or a need for certainty—this can be common in both ADHD and ASD.

Things that could also be explained by ADHD or dyslexia:

  • Difficulty focusing on topics that aren’t interesting → classic ADHD trait.
  • Reading/writing challenges → dyslexia.
  • Hyperfocus on certain interests → ADHD hyperfocus.

Next steps:

  • Consider talking to a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist who can do a proper evaluation for autism.
  • Sometimes getting a diagnosis helps to understand yourself better and find strategies that work for your strengths and challenges.
  • Support for ADHD, dyslexia, and autism often overlaps (like structured routines, coping strategies, social skills coaching).

If you want, I can make a list of signs you described that are more characteristic of autism versus ADHD, to help you see patterns more clearly. That might help you organize your thoughts before talking to a professional.
