money doesn’t rlly matter, just need to finish hs and have a diploma to be able to go into uni.waste of money, makes it purely about education when educating yourself these days is far more cost efficient
yea i’m from the us. school i go to tho is this super strict priv school that gives like 3 hrs of hw and requires u to do like 3 in school extracurricular. it’s impossible to manage that on top of my acting career, would leave no time for my trainings, auditions, etc. and my school is like super strict about attendance so they get super mad whenever i’m absent. u can only have like 6 absences max per year and i had like 23 (not counting the days absent during filming) last year. the school nurse fucking looses her shit every time i say i’m gonna be absent and turns insane whenever i miss like a week or two of school to film out of state. the schools very assignment heavy, it’s just like heavy everything, they want to make school your whole everyday life for 4 years, keep u busy with the 3hr hw and then make u do like 3 extracurricular and a sport after schoolidk depends on the situation and country but ill speak for the US. if so, yea it will damage being nt plus online school is structured in a way for you to not really learn about the subjects. you can cheat more easily, but that will hinder you and i don't think uni values online school unless you have some extraordinary connections. school is already fucked since most of the stuff you learn except for your career is useful. imo self-learning mogs actual school-based content most of the time. plus, all the people i know who do online school are either low iq or schizo or mentally fucked by drugs.
okay that makes more sense. the school (public) i went to is known for having smart kids going to ivies and top 20 unis so practically everyone i knew went to decent to top tier unis. but yea, having something on the side like acting, modeling, sports is plausible. idk much about the acting career route (idk if you are theatre-based or sitcom-TV show based or even movies or commericals), but yea it seems like online school is a good option considering you already have decent traction in your acting career.yea i’m from the us. school i go to tho is this super strict priv school that gives like 3 hrs of hw and requires u to do like 3 in school extracurricular. it’s impossible to manage that on top of my acting career, would leave no time for my trainings, auditions, etc. and my school is like super strict about attendance so they get super mad whenever i’m absent. u can only have like 6 absences max per year and i had like 23 (not counting the days absent during filming) last year. the school nurse fucking looses her shit every time i say i’m gonna be absent and turns insane whenever i miss like a week or two of school to film out of state. the schools very assignment heavy, it’s just like heavy everything, they want to make school your whole everyday life for 4 years, keep u busy with the 3hr hw and then make u do like 3 extracurricular and a sport after school
yeah just worried i won’t have any friends or a social life. i’m screen acting based, so movies/tv shows/i often turn commercials down, only done 1, and only did it cus it was for the super bowl commercials. i would say i have decent traction, not like insane a listed yet, soon, but i’ve probably been in some movies you’ve watched if you’re from the usokay that makes more sense. the school (public) i went to is known for having smart kids going to ivies and top 20 unis so practically everyone i knew went to decent to top tier unis. but yea, having something on the side like acting, modeling, sports is plausible. idk much about the acting career route (idk if you are theatre-based or sitcom-TV show based or even movies or commericals), but yea it seems like online school is a good option considering you already have decent traction in your acting career.
that's so cool actually. just connect with the cast and directors and try to get to the parties in the local area. for uni, if it's an out-of state uni, then it's more of a fresh start. but if it's in-state, whatever happened in high school socially will carry over, good or bad. you should be fine lol go with online school. i wish you the bestyeah just worried i won’t have any friends or a social life. i’m screen acting based, so movies/tv shows/i often turn commercials down, only done 1, and only did it cus it was for the super bowl commercials. i would say i have decent traction, not like insane a listed yet, soon, but i’ve probably been in some movies you’ve watched if you’re from the us
im only 15, can’t rlly go to a bunch of parties rn, the only times i socialize w other ppl in the industry are at award shows that only happen like 3 times a year, and even there u still have to be acting. only times i socialize fr are at like 6-7 intensive acting classes and there r other ppl there, i don’t bother to put up an act there. but the ppl i meet there, i almost never hangout with outside of it, some of it due to my busy schedule, and others just due to lost contact after that training program ends.that's so cool actually. just connect with the cast and directors and try to get to the parties in the local area. for uni, if it's an out-of state uni, then it's more of a fresh start. but if it's in-state, whatever happened in high school socially will carry over, good or bad. you should be fine lol go with online school. i wish you the best
