Thinning hair

Hey guys, I am almost 19, and I've noticed my hair thinning more and more. My dad's side is bald, moms is not. When I cut my hair short, it doesn't appear as thin, but when it's longer, it does, especially when it's wet. I have curly hair for reference. Should I take Finastrin? I went to my doctor, and he brushed it off and just gave me a multivitamin. I've also been experiencing more dandruff. I use Dr.Groot shampoo and conditioner every 3-4 days.

Try minoxidil and check ur Vitamine levels, maybe you’re missing something out indeed. If nothing works tho get on Finasteride

Dude i had the EXACT same problem. Even with the doctor. But i kept nagging and in the end (two days after i turned 18) they gave me finasteride. My hair also looks thick when short but thin when long. But it get thicker the longer you use finasteride. And i have dandruff aswell, but for that i got some cope ass schampoo from my doctor. Never even used it since idgaf. But yea just get finasteride and keep nagging and telling your doctor that your hair thinning is making you insecure ect. I live in sweden and we have this doctor app called doctor.se. And there they can perscribe basicly ANYTHING over a 1min phonecall. Try to find ways around the system. As long as you start drinking finasteride or even better, dutasteride, you will be fine

No but my dandruff wasnt that much. I guess diet is the most important when it comes to dandruff because it not natural anyway so something must be wrong with your body. But i dont think finasteride helps
