idk, the forum is at peak activity now

I as a mod now have this ‘'approval queue’' thing available where I can accept or reject new users. These days we have hundreds of new people every day wanting to have an account on the forum to interact with us, which is crazy compared to months / years ago

For example they are almost 1100 from friday until now, and I have to go into each and see if I can accept them or not

What's the acceptance rate?

15-20% are alt accounts 3% are exceptional cases with weird users who just troll in various ways, 40% are fine users which we accept directly, 10% write answers with AI and are rejected, but they can try again and answer with a better reason, and the rest seem too low IQ at first, but again, we give them a 2nd chance if they want it, so eventually they are approved too, so eventually somewhere around 60-70% of users are accepted (because it is also in our interest to have as many users as possible on the forum)
