it ruins facial harmony, makes face less robust in many cases, even with facemask which only keeps maxilla from recessing more, but it often relapses post mse... thats why even its Creator Won Moon doesn't recommend as an aesthetic procedure.

i had SAMSE + reversepull facemask worn 24/7 for 3+ months with Ting. I did it bc paranasal was fucked and couldnt breath well, but it fucked my harmony and made my face less robust/more recessed in terms of cheeks/maxilla.
