Not because times were simpler, not because life was better, but because they're too subhuman to deal with the lookist based hypergamy behind political correctness.

You had to still ask a girl's daughter if he could date her and shit and een then it was mostly just monogamous. In my opinion there is no good or evil, there is only primal narcisissm and how confident people are to be sneaky about it. And back in the day people were too crushed by tradition. So they'd rationalize their failure to confidently be narcissistic as "being christian/ moral".
Ultimately there are just dominant people or sour grapes with schemes. Religion was one of them. As is the moral policing of "normalcy" the 1950s had.
