One of the worst flaws about our country is that we spend too much on the military as a show of strength this was effective during the cold war but now it's out of place, china and Russia combined are not capable of matching us unless nukes were involved even then it'd end in their destruction while putting us on a path towards being a regional power which I wouldn't really care about tbh. The only bad result would be the earth dying, therefore we should spend that money towards infrastructure, reinvesting in career growth, solar power, education, etc.
