When you type,'Why non veg not allowed in Hinduism"

'Reasons for adopting such a diet include the principle of nonviolence (ahimsa) applied to animals, the intention to offer only vegetarian food to a Hindu's preferred deity and then to receive it back as prasad, and the conviction that non-vegetarian food is detrimental for the mind and for spiritual development.'

The theory is that vegan food reduces testosterone and makes you less agitated therefore I guess they were correct?

This is why you can't eat beef as a Hindu

All of India's most widely practiced religions have dietary laws and traditions. For example, Hindu texts often praise vegetarianism, and Hindus may also avoid eating beef because cows are traditionally viewed as sacred.

I don't get it, What's this weird skewed definition of "God" How can a cow be a God did it create the universe?

The cow in Hindu society is traditionally identified as a caretaker and a maternal figure, and Hindu society honours the cow as a symbol of unselfish giving, selfless sacrifice, gentleness and tolerance.

Selfless sacrifice? The cow doesn't have a clue about sacrifice?! But I guess since you don't really believe in it neither you can answer tbh

In the Hindu religion, the cow has acquired a sacred status. It used to be sacrificed like other animals and offered to the gods and its meat was eaten. The cow was gradually incorporated into a religious ritual and itself became sacred and an object of veneration from the 4th century BCE.

On Quora one guy wrote this
Well, eating non-veg is not crime, many Hindus including Brahmins eat non-Veg. But, it is advisable to eat creatures that are lower in the food chain. So, vegetarian is the best food, then fish and egg are next best, then poultry and the mammals like goat or pork. Beef is prohibited as per many sastras, since cow is considered very highly conscious mammal almost like human emotion. Please follow Sadhgurus video on this, he will show you the logic, while the Vaishnava school will provide you Sashtric evidences for this.
