4 years will do that to you but for the last 2 I haven't engaged nearly as much. Maybe this is an 'old man yells at clouds moment' but good users faded to dust with deletion a bunch of TT children turn this into a daycare taking about mewing thread #523421 and race thread #812381 and barely any substantive interesting threads dropping once in a blue moon. Even when I click of either Off-topic or Looksmaxxing boards I cringe at the titles and close my tab, reddit unironically is more entertaining than this at times.

It's because the culture is changing, and nostalgia ofcourse, exactly similar and a good comparison has been the evolution of football in the last decade or so (if you follow it). Everything is becoming so industrialized and modern I hate it. I don't think shitposts even are the issue
