i have like 300 hours on here and still don't know how to tell if my maxilla is recessed
It's easy, just go to an orthodontist and ask them to check if you're recessed, they'll measure the gap between your upper and lower teeth. A maxillofacial jaw surgeon could also give you that information and since it's not simply a cosmetic thing, they won't lie and their answer will be far more accurate than what this forum says since it's their job to know these things.

You could email a picture to a maxillofacial jaw surgeon and try to ask them, and they may give you an answer, or they may ask you to come to their building to do an X ray of your jaw.

It's pretty simple to understand. When you close your teeth together, if there is a big gap, then there is a problem, if the lower teeth go in front of the upper teeth, it's an underbite, and if the upper teeth go too much in front of the lower teeth, then you're recessed.
when i bite down my front teeth are in front of my bottom teeth but they're basically touching
