This toothless homeless woman asked me for change today

she was in rough shape was limping with a cast on her leg

I gave her all the change I had which wasn’t much

For some reason I felt profound empathy for this homeless woman

The lesson here is truly appreciate and be grateful for your life

Because things could be a lot worse,

but tbh i did a similar thing, was like 1am and this decent looking middle aged woman was walking alone and i pulled over and asked if she needed a ride and gave her one and like 10 bucks to buy some food

I've done something similar for a guy one time though too

True. It helps sometimes to put things into perspective... it could always be worse
